Commercial DNA, Home Gym Price
Steelbody equipment is modeled after what you’d find in serious training facilities — not the lightweight stuff sold at big-box stores. You get the look, feel, and performance of $3,000+ commercial rigs without the commercial price tag.
Built for Daily Punishment
Every weld, every bolt, every frame is designed to handle aggressive daily use. The 3×3″ steel uprights and reinforced triangular brackets don’t flex under load. Drop your deadlifts. Rack hard. This equipment won’t flinch.
Lift Heavy, Lift Safe
Adjustable safety catches, solid J-hooks, and rock-stable bases let you push to failure without a spotter. The Monster Cage and Full Rack are engineered so you can bail on a failed rep without worrying about the equipment — or yourself.
Details That Matter
Transport wheels on every bench. Non-marking rubber feet that protect your floors. Padded pull-up grips that don’t shred your hands. Olympic plate storage built right into the racks. Small touches that make a real difference in daily training.
One Brand, Complete Gym
Benches slide perfectly into cages. Plates fit snug on bars. Collars lock tight on sleeves. When everything comes from the same ecosystem, setup is faster, transitions are smoother, and your gym looks like it belongs together.
The Industrial Look
Let’s be honest — aesthetics matter. The signature Kodiak Brown and Grizzly Brown powder coat gives your space that raw, industrial edge. This isn’t sterile chrome gym equipment. It’s built to look as tough as it performs.

Steelbody Monster Cage
Model: STB-98005
The flagship. A fully enclosed power cage with everything built in — multi-grip pull-up bar, kipping station, adjustable dip handles, and four Olympic plate storage posts. The 3×3″ 14-gauge steel frame handles up to 500 lbs across 15 adjustable height positions. Safety catches let you lift heavy and bail safely without a spotter. If you’re building a serious home gym, this is the centerpiece.

Steelbody Full Rack
Model: STB-98010
All the functionality of a power rack in a more compact footprint. Open-front design gives you easy bar access while still providing safety catches and a reinforced pull-up station. Four weight storage posts keep your plates organized and off the floor. Same 500 lb capacity, same heavy-duty steel — just takes up less space in your garage.

Steelbody Power Tower
Model: STB-98501
Bodyweight training station built for pull-ups, dips, vertical knee raises, and push-ups. The vertical knee raise station has a padded backrest for comfortable ab work. Dip handles adjust to multiple positions — lower them for deficit push-ups. Multi-grip pull-up bars let you hit your back from every angle. Rated for 300 lbs.

Steelbody Adjustable Utility Bench
Model: STB-10105
Six backrest positions from flat to military press. Five seat adjustments to match. The 2-inch thick padding with faux canvas vinyl stands up to sweat and heavy use. Rated for 800 lbs total — you plus the weight you’re moving. Transport wheels and a handle make repositioning easy. Slides right into any Steelbody rack for bench work.

Steelbody Flat Bench
Model: STB-10101
Simple. Solid. No adjustments to fiddle with — just a rock-stable platform for flat pressing, rows, and dumbbell work. Same 800 lb capacity and 2-inch padding as the adjustable version. Transport wheels included. When you need a dedicated flat bench that won’t slide or wobble, this is it.

Steelbody Olympic Barbell
Model: STB-75 / STB-1000RB
IWF-certified Olympic bars built for serious lifting. Available in men’s (7 ft, 45 lb, 28mm grip) and women’s (6 ft, 33 lb, 25mm grip) configurations. Both handle up to 1,500 lbs with 190,000 PSI tensile strength. Precision knurling grips without shredding your palms. Needle bearings deliver smooth sleeve rotation for cleans, snatches, and jerks. Multiple color options available.

Steelbody Olympic Bumper Plates
Model: STBR Series
Solid rubber plates with stainless steel center sleeves. Built for drops — the dense rubber absorbs impact without cracking or bouncing across your floor. Standard 17.75″ diameter across all weights means the bar always starts at the same height. Available in 10, 25, 35, and 45 lb. Sold individually.

Steelbody Horizontal Plate Rack
Model: STB-0130
Low-profile storage for your bumper plates and two Olympic bars. Transport wheels and a front handle let you roll it around your gym as needed. Steel frame with powder-coated finish holds up to 300 lbs. Keeps your plates organized, accessible, and off the floor.

Steelbody Lock Jaw Collars
Model: OBC-6
Aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum collars with a quick-release lever. Rubber-lined interior grips the sleeve without scratching the finish. 1.5″ width leaves plenty of room for max plate loading. Built-in magnet lets you stick them to your rack between sets. Sold in pairs.

Built for Those Who Build Themselves
Steelbody exists because home gyms deserve better. For too long, the choice was simple: pay commercial prices for commercial quality, or settle for flimsy equipment that wobbles, rusts, and falls apart. Steelbody was built to end that compromise.
The brand comes from Impex Fitness — a company with over 40 years in the strength equipment game. That experience shows in every detail: the 14-gauge steel frames, the reinforced welds, the powder-coated finishes that shrug off sweat and abuse. This isn’t equipment designed for a catalog photo. It’s designed for daily punishment.
The name tells the story. Steel body. Heavy materials. Industrial design. Equipment that looks like it belongs in a serious training facility — because that’s exactly what inspired it. The signature Kodiak Brown and Grizzly Brown finishes aren’t just about aesthetics. They’re a statement: this gear is built different.
Other brands chase the lowest price point with thinner steel and cheaper parts. Steelbody chases a different standard — the one where your rack doesn’t shake when you rerack a heavy squat, where your bench doesn’t slide across the floor mid-set, where your barbell sleeves spin smooth after thousands of reps. Professional quality, home gym price. That’s the mission.
What Lifters Are Saying
“I’ve been lifting for 15 years and tried equipment at every price point. The Monster Cage is hands-down the best value I’ve found. It’s built like the racks at my old commercial gym, but costs a fraction of the price. Zero wobble, even when I’m doing heavy squats.”

“Started my fitness journey during COVID and the Steelbody Power Tower was my first serious purchase. Perfect for pull-ups, dips, and leg raises. It’s incredibly stable — I’m 220 lbs and there’s no shaking at all.”
James K., Phoenix, AZ
Home Gym Beginner
Product: Power Tower STB-98501
“The adjustable bench exceeded my expectations. 800 lb capacity is no joke — I’ve tested it with 405 lb bench press and it doesn’t budge. The 6 positions cover everything from flat to military press. Great value.”

“I recommend Steelbody to all my clients setting up home gyms. The Full Rack gives them everything they need for compound movements, and it actually looks professional. Not like those flimsy racks that look like they’ll collapse.”

“The Olympic barbell meets IWF standards at a price that doesn’t hurt. Knurling is perfect — grippy but not aggressive. Sleeves spin smoothly. I’ve loaded it to 350 lbs with no flex issues. Can’t ask for more at this price.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the Monster Cage and the Full Rack?
The Monster Cage (STB-98005) is a fully enclosed four-post power cage — ideal for heavy lifting alone since you can bail safely in any direction. The Full Rack (STB-98010) has an open-front design with the same 500 lb capacity but takes up less floor space. Go with the Monster Cage if you squat and bench heavy without a spotter. Choose the Full Rack if space is tight but you still want barbell safety catches.
Do the Steelbody benches fit inside the racks?
Yes. Both the Adjustable Utility Bench (STB-10105) and the Flat Bench (STB-10101) are sized to roll right into the Monster Cage and Full Rack for bench press and incline work.
How much ceiling height do I need for the Monster Cage or Full Rack?
The Monster Cage stands about 95 inches tall. The Full Rack is around 82 inches. For overhead pressing inside the cage, add your height plus the length of a loaded barbell overhead — most lifters need at least 9 feet of clearance for the Monster Cage or 8 feet for the Full Rack.
Do I need special flooring to protect my garage floor?
Rubber flooring or horse stall mats are strongly recommended, especially if you’re using bumper plates and dropping weight. Even with bumpers, repeated drops on bare concrete can crack the floor over time. A basic 3/4″ rubber mat setup protects the concrete and absorbs noise.
Why bumper plates instead of iron plates?
Bumper plates are designed to be dropped — the dense rubber absorbs impact without cracking or damaging your floor. They’re quieter, rust-resistant, and all the same diameter regardless of weight, which keeps the bar at proper height for deadlifts and Olympic lifts. Iron plates are thinner (so you can load more on the bar) and cheaper, but they’ll destroy your floor if dropped and make a lot more noise.
Are the bumper plates sold individually or in pairs?
Individually. Each listing is for one plate. Order two for a matching pair.
Will Steelbody attachments and accessories work with racks from other brands?
Steelbody racks use 3×3″ uprights with 1″ diameter holes. Attachments from other brands with the same specs should fit, but compatibility isn’t guaranteed. For best results, stick with Steelbody accessories or check hole spacing and upright dimensions before buying third-party add-ons.
How difficult is assembly?
The Monster Cage takes 4-5 hours with two people. The Full Rack and Power Tower are a bit faster — around 2-3 hours. Benches and the plate rack go together in under an hour. All hardware and basic tools are included. Clear instructions, but a socket wrench helps speed things up.
Is Steelbody equipment good enough for serious lifters, or is it just for beginners?
Steelbody is built for serious home use. The racks handle 500 lbs, benches are rated to 800 lbs, and the Olympic bars hold up to 1,500 lbs. That covers the vast majority of home gym lifters. If you’re consistently loading 600+ lbs on squats or competing at an elite level, you might want commercial-grade equipment. For everyone else — beginners to advanced recreational lifters — Steelbody delivers.
What warranty comes with Steelbody products?
2-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims are handled through Impex Fitness customer support.
